By using Perina, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The Service
Perina is an AI perimenopause companion app for self-tracking symptoms, cycle changes, sleep, mood, journal notes, and related patterns. Perina may provide AI-assisted summaries, insights, and doctor report previews.
2. Not Medical Advice
Perina does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency support, or clinical monitoring. Information in the app is for educational and self-tracking purposes only. Always seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional for medical questions or concerns.
3. Emergencies
Perina is not an emergency service. If you may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
4. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Using Perina lawfully and safely.
- Entering information accurately if you choose to use tracking features.
- Keeping your device and account secure.
- Consulting a healthcare professional before making health decisions based on app content.
5. Accounts
Some features may allow or require account linking through Apple, Google, or another supported provider. You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
6. Premium and Subscriptions
Perina may offer paid features, free trials, or subscriptions. Purchases are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. Pricing, renewal, cancellation, refund, and billing terms are governed by the applicable app store rules and the terms shown at purchase.
If a free trial is offered, it may automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends, as explained by the app store at checkout.
7. AI Features
AI-assisted outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not appropriate for your situation. You should review AI-generated summaries, reports, and suggestions before relying on them or sharing them with a healthcare professional.
8. User Content
You may enter notes, symptoms, cycle information, and other content. You retain ownership of your content. You grant Perina permission to process your content as needed to provide app features, operate the service, and comply with law.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse Perina, including by attempting to reverse engineer the app, interfere with service security, use the app for unlawful purposes, or submit content that violates the rights of others.
10. Privacy
Perina's handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Intellectual Property
Perina, including its app design, branding, text, software, and related materials, is owned by the Perina team or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership of Perina or its intellectual property.
12. Changes and Availability
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Perina after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Disclaimers
Perina is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Perina and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the app.
15. Termination
You may stop using Perina at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms or if continued access may create risk or legal exposure.
